David. I hope you get some good advice for your psoriasis on the forum. It's well worth trawling through old posts, there is a treatment to suit most of us and reading other peoples experiences here may give you ideas to suggest to your dermatologist.
It sounds painful using a scrubbing brush on you skin, I think it' may be a blessing in disguise that you don't have a large bidet to bath in
