Im on a bit of a crusade here. I want to hear from anyone on the topic, particularly if they were involved in the study. I wonder who the dummy is here - valeant for picking it up, or amgen for dumping it? Let's find out, shall we. Amgen never stopped commercialization in japan. None of it makes sense. And why would the shareholders at valeant be so quick to pick up a dud? It works for amgen in japan but nowhere else. What works for Valeant doesn't for amgen? I'm sure there's plenty of investors that hold both stocks. Smells like big stinky hedge fund to me. Am I the only one who sees this??? What makes you think that brodalumab causes depression etc. What if, at the end of the day it gets fda approval with no such warning. Afterall, let's remember that amgen was merely speculating the fda would require such a warning.
I think the following quote will answer that question Amgen dump brodalumab after some patients had suicidal thoughts.
I think those are really sensible thoughts birdman, lots of things are not what they seem, there are always other agenda's
