I don't want to sound like an idiot but can you get tests to see if you do?? As of right now I do not have the pain anywhere that would suggest I have arthritis. I will say though my legs are weak and will be going to the gym for that. They just dont have any strength to them.
Hi Ralph,
No, there are no tests that can tell you if you have PSA. Psoriatic arthritis.
There are only indications, a number of them below.
- pain in the small joints, your fingers and feet, these pains are inflammations
- bad nails, chalky, specifically on your feet and hands, not everyone has that
- inflammations in your spine, elbows, knees, less often than those in fingers and feet
- having had inflammations in your Achilles' tendon, or tendons in the base of your feet
- NOT having typically rheumatic indications in your blood
- having psoriasis in less or more severe format
