Just a thought, is it possible that you could make an appointment with your current dermatologist in guernsey for three months time and then get a cheap flight from Ireland and back to just go and see him for another three months supply ?
My mam suggested that, but i reckon once you leave and not paying tax then your no longer entitled to health care. I need two flights home, so not cheap. But if its worth 3months perscriptions it's worth it
Wouldn't you be covered by the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)
Guernsey is not part of the European union so no use

So they are pretty much in the same boat that you could be in after the referendum then.
