Welcome to the fun house aka the best place to find out all you need to know about Psoriasis.
Like you I was offered light treatment but i never do well with suntans, that and the hospital that does it is a bit of a journey for me, so i started Methotrexate (MTX) about a month, month and a half ago started noticing it fade after the first dose, ever since then its been fading. But yeah the side effects aren't that bad it differs between people so you could take the stuff and get none what so ever, or you could get the whole lot or one or two in between. I will admit i looked at the side effect list and just thought what the f... am i getting into.
