to Psoriasis Club.
I know someone who told me she was apparently born with it, I'm not sure how true it is but like Krissie said she has had it since the age of 4. Unfortunately with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis the is no one suit fits all. It can strike anyone at any time in their life, and as for if he will end up with psoriatic arthritis statistics show around 20% will get it. But that 20% may not get it till very late in life, so I would say don't be scared about it.
Get a good dermatologist to work with you and your son and he will be fine. Don't' get hung up about him getting psoriatic arthritis, just spend your time helping and supporting him through his journey with psoriasis.
