Hi there . I would say its all depending on your quality of life right now. Do you think treatment would improve it, and if so its worth talking to your dermatologist about and finding out about new treatments. I live in the UK, so the costs are covered in our NHS but if this doesn't apply to you, ask yourself would the cost make you happier and weigh it up that way.
I've tried methotrexate, and like you found the results were great, but I too was constantly exhausted and dreaded having to take them. I'm now prescribed Fumaderm (DMF) and I'm keeping a journal of it on here which you can follow 'My Fumaderm Journey' in Prescribed Treatments. The long term benefits are very encouraging hence why I'm pursuing with the side effects.
