I would say if you're happy with the way the psoriasis looks and you don't have psoriatic arthritis I would hold off on trying one of the new treatments (I take it you mean the Bio treatments) they do work very well, but like any treatment there are some side effects.
If I only had psoriasis I would have stayed on the topical treatments Dovobet, Dovonex, Etc but as I got so bad with psoriatic arthritis I had to go onto them. Having said that now I have tried them and ended up with almost completely clear skin, if the psoriasis was bad and getting me down I would go for it.
I'm not sure of your health care system, but the bio's can be be very expensive if you don't have 100% subsidy.
I'm also not sure if you can get Fumaderm (DMF) in your pat of the world, but that may be worth looking into.
