Fred, you dont know that for certain. Caroline, Jim, Joana et al take their stuff without any fuss. I could probably take three lots of 240 mg daily without much fuss either, but it would likely give me a lymphopaenia and would not control my disease. Just as there are no ground rules for the course of the disease, there can be no ground rules for the treatment you use other than it being worth the effort. Two bellyaches for seven peaceful sleeps and the ability to sit comfortably is an excellent rate of exchange.
Cheers,
Bill
No Bill what I mean is they're not for me by choice. Makes no difference to me what evidence there is or what success others have, I just wouldn't take them. If I ended up with no choice then I might look at the DMF's but oral treatment of any kind is not something I would like to take, I gag just thinking of taking a paracetamol. Yes I know I could sprinkle it on my corn flakes and wash it down with yoghurt, but even the slightest turn in the guts or a dash to the bog would be enough for me to throw the rest away and give up.
That's why they are not for me, nothing to do with if they work or not. I just don't like oral treatments of any kind.
