the side effects of Fumaderm were for me abdominal cramps, for me they came a few hours after taking my tablets and lasted around half an hour, some were bad enough to double me up, the other thing is hot flushes. They start with the top of your head and work their way down your body.... Not unpleasant but can be embarrassing .......after a couple of months for me the side effects stopped apart from the flushing which I still get most days

When you say embarrassing is that because the flushes are red?  But last for 30 minutes.?  I will read though the threads you have listed with a nice ginger tea!  I get plenty of cramps anyway if I eat too much pizza or thinks of that elk so may well be used to that anyway
