Starting MTX

I might ask about the longer term Fumaderm when I next see the consultant. Gota get this MTX started first. Why the hell not try Fumaderm first if it is less toxic.

I had to go through methotrexate first, in my opinion I think that fumaderm tends to be a second choice and offered by dermatologists that are forward thinking.
Our local hospital is a teaching hospital, I used to go in as a patient for trainee doctors to practice on. I had a good relationship with the teaching consultant. When I was struggling with methotrexate he suggested after a session that I could be offered  fumaderm or acetretin . I choose fumaderm as he had pointed me towards it  ....  But I had no idea what it was.... But it was a great decision... Tough to start with but got easy after a while and I can eat and drink what I like
