Hi there
Well failed miserably at inserting photo but never mind.
Update on acitretin: so the good news is my skin has continued to improve, legs and arms beginning to clear and I couldn't be happier.
Bad news is, that as of today I have been told to stop taking it for a week. I have been experiencing severe muscle pain, extreme fatigue and rotten, rotten headaches and apparently I look ill! I actually wanted to continue to see if I just get used to it but was told no! Anyway off for a week, they will reassess next week and perhaps lower the dose or make it alternative days. Also bloods were fine but had raised my cholesterol to 7.
They have told me it will continue to work as it is in my system so not to worry psoriasis will not bounce back in a week.
However I remain positive and am hoping I will be able to go back on next week.
So I have a week off work as I really do feel yuk, but remember yuk with normal hands, near normal arms and everywhere else flat not scaly yehhhhh! So I am going to have a week doing nothing except reading books and drinking tea!
Oh and my poor dog got bit and had to have an op and stitches so he is cuddling up with me and my books. Unfortunately it was his own doing, he's old, a little senile, bit deaf and has cataracts , because of that he thought another dog was going for him as he didn't see it going past until the last minute, got a fright, barked and frightened the other dog who just snapped, big teeth, resulted in several stiches near his eye.
Eh well hope you are all doing well.
Speak soon
Sandra
