Update: injection 2 - did 3 days ago. Didn't do as well as first one . For some reason I must not have pushed all way down syringe as needle didn't retract on its own. Thought I had and retracted needle back and when out of skin it went in to syringe and spurted out some of the liquid !
It didn't look much and now I'm a paranoid android , thinking I might have wasted some of it. Hopefully not.
Skin on legs improving , still quite marked but improving. Side effects - none to note really. Have had a slight headache day or so after jags but they have been coinciding with hormone fluctuations, which would normally cause headaches.
I have derm appointment in just over two weeks. May I ask if anyone gets their bloods done on stelera and how often. I'm sure I read after 3 months blood should be done . Also if anyone has reached their UVB limits (or almost) like me, do you get a yearly skin examination . I did once ask about this as my photo therapy nurse had said I was reaching the limit where my skin should be checked yearly. Needless to say I did ask my derm when I was taking cyclosporine and she dismissed it.
Hope your all well.
Angie
Hi Angie I have never been on a bio drug so can't help with how often they should test your bloods
But I was told I had my lifetime allowance of UV treatment, and they would not give me more .. That's when I started the tablet route about 5 years ago.... I see my dermatologist every 3 months and never once have I had my skin checked. But I keep a close eye on my own and if I was concerned I would bring it up at the meetings
