I think best to avoid the creams if you want to be sure it's the methotrexate that is doing the work, it's always best to avoid using two or even three things at once if you want a good conclusion as to if something is working.
Best Before: Look at like this, if it looks or smells ok then go ahead with your yoghurt. But if when you open it something furry pops out and says hello then it's probably best for the bin, that theory doesn't apply to all food stuffs however as cheese you can scrape the fur off before eating. But to be 100% sure if the foil lid is raised like a bubble then it would be advisable to get a friend to try it first.
Seriously though you Must keep an eye on your bloods so at least get them checked before going, and immediately you get back. I don't want to frighten you or anyone reading this, but it is very important to have regular blood checks whilst on any pills or injections especially methotrexate.
