I dont think the question of Kyle Bass' character matters much. He is simply trying to exploit an opportunity. I am far more concerned by the vast number of specialists who do not challenge the status quo. Because of the unusual status of DMF as both a pharmaceutical and industrial chemical (bisphosphonates are another, but are a class of chemicals), it could enable health services around the world to treat patients more effectively and at lower cost. It is sad to see instead the public interest abandoned for the sake of sweet deals with pharmaceutical companies.
I will take my next dose of DMF between two flattened jelly beans!

Bill
I agree with you Bill, it is so sad that the greedy people over and over again are making money over the backs of the people who need medicine so much. This morning I read about a girl in Greece who is developing MS, costs € 700 a month. For now this is still delivered, but because of the Greece problems it is quite undefined if this will continue.
She would be helped with e.g. cheap DMF.
Within the TPP negotiations you can also easily see that the benefit is going to the big pharma companies. It is all going in the wrong direction, the greedy direction, under the steering of Barack Obama. And it is all secret and later on thus voted upon by idiots who do not know what they are voting about.
I can be so mad about this practices
Cheers,
Caroline
