Hi Dava and a big to the forum, I'm glad you found your way here, as here you will be with people that understand the disease and its unpleasant ways, we are all happy to share our experiences of what works
I'm glad you got on well with Dovonex ( which is still available ) and is a vitamin d derivative so not as harmful as Dovabet which is a steroid cream.
I never got any benefit from Dovonex although it is a good cream to use
I would suggest your doctor is not very clued up on psoriasis and I think you should ask him to refer you to a dermatologist who will offer you different treatments and if you mention to him that Dovonex works for you I'm sure he would prescribe it, and you would then be on the hospital radar and would get checked on regularly depending on the severity of your psoriasis
