Hello Amy No it's not normal but I wouldn't think it's the methotrexate. Psoriasis can piss us all off at times and we can tend to take it out on people or animals that are our friends.
Methotrexate like all drugs that can help psoriasis is not a natural thing we want to do, we just want to live a normal life without psoriasis. If you think Methotrexate is causing it you should discuss it with your GP.
But to be honest I would say it's just psoriasis throwing it's shit around like it can, and what you have to do is try not to let it control your life. Go gently to your cat and talk to it in a calm voice and get it on your lap. Animals are much better than people, so keep your cat on your side.
