I am using Dovobet on my face, on the direction of my GP, as the Dovonex didn't work.
I take your point about the cotton buds - suppose I will have to cut the nails on my little fingers
The coconut oil idea does sound yummy. (Don't suppose Bounty chocolate bars count tho?)

I would check again with your doctor, if you read the leaflet that comes with Dovobet it clearly states:

• Avoid use on large areas of damaged skin or skin folds (groin,
armpits, under breasts) as it increases the absorption of the steroid
• Avoid use on the face or genitals (sex organs) as they are very
sensitive to steroids
• Avoid excessive sunbathing, excessive use of solarium and other
forms of light treatment.

I may sound a bit paranoid, but I would hate to hear you had damaged the skin on your face.

Oh and by the way you would look a bit silly with a Bounty Bar sticking out of your ear.
