Hello Sam to Psoriasis Club
We can relate to how you feel, and you will find us a small but friendly bunch of people.
Mine started with a small patch on my scalp too, and yes it can affect relationships. But the more you are open about it the easier you will find it to live with, and if someone isn't supportive then I wouldn't worry to much about it. We all can't help what we look like, and psoriasis can suddenly strike anyone at any time.
Try not to be embarrassed by it, but if you are just come here and talk. We don't care what you look like and you don't have to sweep up after yourself either.
Regards.
Fred.
