Thanks so much everybody for your kind welcomes. I'm loving this place already !
It's really wonderful to talk with people who understand what psoriasis is all about. I mean, I'm not glad that you are all suffering too, but it makes me fell less abnormal to know others go through the same trials. Hope that makes sense!
JimL and Caroline, I am so encouraged by your positive experience with Fumaderm. It's great to hear and makes me very hopeful. The idea of having clear or almost clear skin again is, well, just beautiful. To be able to wear short sleeves in the summer and shorts on holidays. To be able to get my hair cut and styled by a professional!
As a by the by, I often think it must be that bit harder for blokes with psoriasis to manage some of the aesthetic aspects. I can somewhat disguise the scales on my face with make-up; I can cover up the nail pitting and discolouration reasonably successfully with polish; and my longish hair and fringe helps to disguise some of the plagues on my scalp and neck. Those options are not available to the same extent for men .
Fred, I love that - "No need to sweep up after your visit!" Thank you so much!! I feel my house is never fully clean these days. Every surface seems to collect a dusting of flakey bits !
Gilly, as Bav clocked, the gorgeous Dean Winchester is a character in the long-running TV show "Supernatural". I loves him ! Check it out; it's great fun, sometimes scary and generally class!
Thanks again for your kind post everybody. I'll check in again soon to see how you all are doing and let you know how the Fumaderm is treating me .
