the end of ciclosporin....the beginning of fumaderm

I have just read in the fumaderm leaflet, it states that cyclosporine must not be used simultaneously with fumaderm initial, but my derm told me to start taking the fumaderm while I was coming off the ciclosporin (neoral) to avoid a flare up!! Conflicting or what!? I'm thinking I'll just carry on taking both, the dose of ciclo is dropping to 50mg before I go up to 2 tablets, and the fumaderm oracle (Caroline ) doesn't think there will be a reaction. Surely my derm wouldn't tell me to do it if there was a chance of anything bad happening?

I can't think your dermatologist would do anything dangerous, not that I have taken cyclosporine but I had just come off methotrexate when I started, I'm sure Caroline would know if there were a danger she has studied the drug and is as you say the oracle ... Just watch for any unexpected side effect, when should you finish the cyclo?
