The definition of PsA ia vague: if it can be inflamed, PsA can inflame it. However, axial PsA is rare and is typically asymmetrical. Imagining techniques are a crapshoot. Most Rheumotologist do not know have the staff or skill to do it properly. Symmetrical damage would suggest another disease such as AS or RA depending on the permanent damage. NSAIDS have shown some efficacy in preventing damage in AS. More studies are needed.
