That's very true Bill that is around the cost of my medication, but fortunately I'm of an age where my prescriptions are free 
When I was younger I paid for an annual prepayment certificate which used to cost around £100 a years.
But certainly if I lived anywhere where I could not get the tablets I think I would go your route
