Although it sounds like you don't have much choice at the moment but to go there and work, just have to say... what a jerk that guy sounds like!! He probably knows nothing about psoriasis and it would have been nice for him to ask you questions about it. He's only able to go on the assumption that you are able to work there since you were sent there so I'd give him a pass on not being able to judge on the first day what you can and cannot do, but as a supervisor/manager type he should have better people skills! Hopefully your next day will be better.

And yes, get to a dermatologist and see what he or she has to say. Be sure to mention stress if you are feeling stressed out working for this guy.
