Thankx Fred for adding all the info on DC.
I have it badly in my right hand . With PsA. And Palmoplanter PPP.
It's like science went wako on My hands and feet . One thing leads to another.i already have been thru 3 hip replacements and fighting not to have knees. Havana screws in my shoulders. Alll from PsA.
I think that every time I try to fix my fingers with extra collagen build up thru the same pathway psoriasis build up.
P is found to cause skin conditions. Dupuytrens had curled my hands with a build up of collagen pulling my fingers into a fist. After surgery on one pinky finger all fingers flared and are curled and disfigured. Tried NA. AND BIO DRUG XIAFLEX.,EACH TIME MY DC GET'S A WORSE FLARE.
Next radiation therapy.. Stopping the nodules and thickened tendons from a collagen build up is the goal.
So I have heard of the Keobler Effect. Patients who develop Koebner phenomenon in response to one method of injury are susceptible to other triggering stimuli. This is particularly noted in patients with psoriasis. Conversely, a patient who does not develop skin lesions with one type of injury is not expected to exhibit Koebner phenomenon with another type of injury.i seem to be one of the luck ones, one flare after another.
I don't hear many talking about Dupuytrens or thevKeobner phenomenon. I feel like I'm running around in circles at times.
