A very interesting long term study, which makes interesting reading. The only thing that jumped out at me was. Why were the people in the study on long term paracetamol ? Or NSAIDs Was it for joint pain? If so they may have already had undiagnosed PsA
I agree it may be worth looking again at the prescribing of some NSAIDs and paracetamol for PsA sufferers if indeed it can be proved that this has a detrimental effect on the disease
But I suppose it's a catch 22 situation where sufferers need something to ease the pain. Without causing further joint damage, certainly an interesting study which highlights the need for further study
