Hi hon - I'm new here too, I have a different type of psoriasis, its on my feet & hurts like !"£$$%^!! however, when I was younger I didn't have a lot of confidence, I have thick legs, soooo I have always worn trousers or leggings, I don't do skirts..... however recently I have fallen in love with the long dress's available! great & best of all colourful!! as I get older I find I can wear more extravagant things, I've discovered Asian bloomers (the big silky trousers) I bought an outfit from ebay for £16 its silk & bright pink & the leggings are soooo comfortable & cover up the fact that I have big legs (courtesy of cycling & skiing at your age!!) & I look good in it too! I can;t decide if my depression has caused the psoriasis or the other way round, however I have found its good to let it out - so big hug be positive (when you feel like it) and do something nice for yourself once in a while & for a real buzz do something nice for someone else!! I love people complementing me (I always have flower hair clips & they get reaction) so as I like being complimented, I compliment others & it surprised me how good it makes me smile when it makes another smile.... now I have not always been like this - I used to be a real misery, until I realised I didn't like myself, so why should i expect others to???? so I took a deep breath & over a period changed - have a smile, it makes others wonder what you've been up to..... take care & think pink...
