I can`t use the common treatments for it because of the damage it does to my kidney. Had to have one removed in 2003 and everything i`ve tried reduces my kidney function. Am looking forward to talking to someone with similar problems and hope for a treatment besides creams and oils.
Hi Janet,
Psoriasis can be a pain. I'm sorry to hear of the loss of one kidney.you don't mention what common treatments for P. You cannot use.
A simple treatment I have used since shield hood is occlusion, vit-D , light treatment at the derms office, laser & excimer treatments . Sun exposure during the early am late pm. Also lots of non greasy moisturizers. There are many products OTC made for P. Especially used with occlusion will shut down the blood capillary veins feeding the p. Cells.
Welcome and there's a lot of good reliable info right here.
