Well, I have had enough of watching my psoriasis come back. I'm tired of the pain. To make a long story short, I injected. I will give a mini review of the syringe It's bigger than Stelara syringe, more typical of what you find in doctors office. There are four standard steps:
1. Clean your hands with soap and water and clean injection site with alcohol,
2. Take the cap off and remove the air bubbles from syringe,
3. Pinch yor skin, in a dart like motion, and insert the needle at an angle and slowly inject medication,
4. Remove syringe and discard in needle box when finished. Hold cotton swab to injection site to limit any bleeding.
Now I don't recommend any follow what I wrote, it's just an example. My first complaint is the air bubbles were a pain to get out. I have had a significant amount of experience with plumbing syringe for lack of better words. Now I followed instructions and let the syringe sit for 30 minutes to warm up. Maybe I'll give it an hour. The needle insertion was painless, the injection hurt a bit, but overall far better than Humira pen. I did have a small site reaction, nothing big.
Now for a small rant; my tendons are messed up in my hands and I found it painful to inject. I do not recommend anyone to self inject without first getting guidance from a doctor
