Hi Lilkell
A very warm to the forum I hope you will have a good experience here, as we are all psoriasis sufferers and are always ready to share our experiences of the disease and the various treatments so have a good look around and if you have a question just shout we do have a good bunch of members and an active off topic section where we can chat about almost anything
With regard to your question im guessing you have been given a prescription for Fumaderm initial to get your body prepared for the full strength tablets
I would think that to begin they are going to keep an eye on your reaction to the drug and your blood levels.
I would also think after a month you will get a prescription then for possibly 3 months supply and the dermatologist will probably not need to see you for three months ( well that's how it went for me) you will need monthly blood tests to check on your levels and they may need to see you to adjust the dose .
You may well get some side effects most do ...some get them worse than others ... Stay in touch with us
And we will, advise of ways to deal with the side effects
It's worth the side effects to get clearance believe me.... I have never been clearer for so long in all my adult life...... in my mind Fumaderm is a wonder drug
Good luck I hope this helps
Jim
