It's interesting to see the cost of the tablets..... Is what you have for prescription similar to our UK prepayment system where you can have as many drugs as you need for a fixed price ...

Jim, here you can get what's called a Drug Payment Scheme Card, which basically means that, on a calender monthly basis, you can't be charged more than €144 for prescription medicine if you apply for the card. As far as I'm aware, everyone is entitled to it. We have something called Medical Card, which would cover the cost of all your medical needs. I'm going to apply for one on the basis of the cost of the medication, but I doubt I'll get it, seeing as I work.
that's interesting knowing your costs in Ireland over here in the UK we can buy prepayment certificates and they cost
A prescription costs £8.05 per item,
Or a prepayment certificate covers all your prescription drugs
a PPC costs:( prepayment certificate)
£29.10 for 3 months
£104 for 12 months
