Philips launch wearable light treatment for psoriasis

Has anyone had experience of any other hand held UVB lamps as I was talking to someone today and he was thinking of buying one there are two he was interested in but a vast difference in price between £129 and one at over £1000 looking on eBay I was wondering if they were effective and what others thought of them, or if anyone had tried one.

Never tried them myself or know of anyone, but I would imagine it's one of those "You gets what you pays for" scenario's.

But personally I would be careful buying from ebay. Just me being cautious, but I have heard of dodgy beds and lamps.

The Philips one mentioned in the first post is available under prescription in the UK, so it could be worth asking your dermatologist.
