Yes there is a reason, it's to stop people like you creating membership so you can see the member list without contributing.

We are all volunteers and have our own lives to live, no one is employed and people log-in as and when they please so it sometimes may take a while for someone to get back to you.

Obviously you had an ulterior motive to becoming a member of Psoriasis Club, you just wanted to see the member list for some reason. Well had you have made 5 posts you would have been able to see the member list, but with the tone of your language in this thread. You're not going to see the member list, as you're not wanted here and you are about to be thrown out.
@Caroline I doubt he would have done a good job for us, as he didn't seem to have much patience.
