Kids must be at school as you have got the computer back........... And yes it is the best get to get a referral, hopefully it will go away but my experience is its a stubborn beast to shift.... A few topicals may give you some clearance and hopefully it won't come back, it's a possibility
But certainly the first thing has to be a proper diagnosis.
If you say it's mild at present, in my opinion that's the time to atttack it with whatever you are prescribed
