Hello Cheryl to Psoriasis Club.
First off, No you haven't broken any rules and you are very welcome. It's the spammers, trolls, and bullies that are not welcome.
I would definitely get referred to a dermatologist as they are better suited to give you a 100% diagnoses, and also better suited to treat you.
Have a look at this thread and follow the links to lot's of images of psoriasis Types Of Psoriasis Explained
I've not known of psoriasis around the eyes but my eyes can get very sore like you explained sometimes, maybe another member will know more. If you are itching all over but not where the lesions are, that doesn't sound like psoriasis to me as it's the lesions that itch. (However it could be the start of a flare-up)
Ice can help with instant itch relief on psoriasis, a bag of frozen peas works well. Keep your skin moisturised as much as possible. Have a look at the descriptions and images I pointed you to, you will be able to tell a bit better if it is psoriasis.
Sorry not much help really as I'm not 100% sure by your description myself, but do get yourself to a specialist dermatologist at your local hospital.
Please do keep us informed as you input could help others.
Regards.
Fred.
