Interesting study. It really shows how complex psoriasis is and why it is not just a skin problem, but also an inflammatory condition.

For me, this is why a consistent routine makes sense. I try to focus on calming the skin, keeping the dry and flaky areas moisturised, and supporting the body from the inside as well. When my skin is very dry or cracked, I use oil directly on the areas where I have psoriasis because it helps soften the skin and makes it feel less irritated.
