I need to start enjoying life before it's too late.I take SKYRIZI that has helped me immensely but the Psoriatic Arthritis not much help. 1 - Why is alcohol the highest percentage score, but then not mentioned as one of the factors.
2 - What about stress? I guess because it isn't as easy as measuring the other factors, but then people are self-reporting smoking, alcohol and activity so it is reliant on anecdotal data anyway.
I found alcohol and weight to be almost inversely correlated with my PsA (the more weight I lost and giving alcohol seemed (emphasis - correlation isn't causation) to have no impact, but stress definitely triggers a flare. And I don't knowingly stress eat, and weight doesn't go up, and don't drink when I get stressed out.
Very good points Waine.
1. For me the removal of alcohol was significant.
2. And indeed, stress is a very strong factor.
