It sounds as though this doctor wants your Psoriasis to get really bad again before giving you a referral. That is bad medical practice. AND there is the medical records error. It also sounds as though he is not accepting responsibility for that. I don't know how the NHS is navigated. Do you need the help of an attorney?
It is a bad idea, in my opinion, to wait until you get sick again. What kind of doctor wants that to happen? It makes no sense to me. What gets you well, keeps you well. You are an adult with a lot of experience of knowing your body and living with Psoriasis. I'm glad you are able to stand up for yourself.
