Hello Kirsten to Psoriasis Club.
First I would say, to be fair some cases of ringworm can look like psoriasis. And he/she is right anti fungal will not help one bit, but at least they have taken a biopsy which is good.
Looking at our poll running What age did you get psoriasis? 35 does come out between 4-7 % But psoriasis doesn't care what age you are what sex, race, etc it just comes and slaps you when it feels like it.
What steroid cream have they recommended as you need to be careful in the genital area, Dovobet themselves does not recommend it's use in the genital region. See here Dovobet Ointment
I would recommend something like Silkis or Dovonex for that area myself, and keep well moisturised with Coconut Oil
Your Husband has eczema so will understand a little of what you are going through, so now you both can chat all night and claim Bragging Rights.
Kirsten obviously I'm not a woman, but I hope it has helped a bit as Men also have problems with psoriasis in the genital area. In fact it's one of the regions rearly discussed but most will have it at some point.
Like Caroline said you will find a friendly bunch always willing to share and support, so just dive on in.
Regards.
Fred.
@Sue and anyone else wondering about a biopsy see here: Psoriasis Biopsy
