I have always thought that + - * /. Are calculus.

And that roots, sinus, cosinus, differential and intergration stuff was real mathematics, together with complex formula’s.

The definition of math is the overall group of sciences that study numbers, shapes and their relationships.


Then I thought perhaps adding, subtracting and Multiplication were considered arithmetic, which they are so...

Arithmetic is one of the oldest and elementary branches of mathematics, originating from the Greek word ‘Arithmos’, which means ‘number’. Arithmetic involves the study of numbers, especially the properties of traditional operations, such as additions, subtraction, multiplication and division.

So I dunno. We would call it all Math here but doesn't mean we are right.

It may be one of those things were either it's different in different countries or it could be language, you may have more words for mathematical computations than we do here. But either way, I concede that you're good at Math.

I was more of an English person in school, despite how I type and defintely despite how I talk!
