Interesting those involved genes, but…. They still do not know what they exactly do.
As psoriasis is often correlated with diabetes and obesity, it might have made more sense to look at the correlation of that elements versus cardiovascular disease, in order to keep ‘logical’ or more obvious conclusions.
Still nice to search for involved genes of course, maybe the future will tell us more.
And I do recognise that the inflammation factor might have an effect on cardiovascular diseases. If this really would be recognised and proven, then it would make sense to in fact always treat in order to reduce these inflammation factors.
