Been eating without sugar for over 20 years. It gets easier. Sugar is addictive. I have a bit of raw honey (not processed!) and that seems to help. I also do not eat chocolate or any caffeine products. Carob and Postum are some healthy substitutes for this. I also have not eaten meat in over 20 years. Now I cannot have sugar, chocolate, meat, etc. without feeling physically ill so I don't miss them much and I have been able to keep my weight down (avoiding the effects of psoriatic arthritis). I am not clear, but my skin is manageable.
