Spevigo (spesolimab) Is given by infusion in the vein by a professional and takes around 90 minutes. Usually given only once but an additional dose  may be needed after 1 week.

Patients should be checked for tuberculosis (TB) before taking Spevigo.

Who should not take Spevigo

• If you have an infection that keeps returning or does not go away.
  
• Recently received or are scheduled to receive a vaccine. *You should not receive live vaccines after treatment with Spevigo.
  

What should I watch for AFTER having Spevigo

• fevers, chills, or sweats
  
• muscle aches
  
• cough
  
• shortness of breath
  
• blood in your phlegm (mucus)
  
• burning when you urinate
  
• urinating more often than normal
  

The most common side effects are tiredness or weakness; nausea, vomiting; headache; itching or itchy bumps; bruising or blood under the skin where the injection was given; or pain or burning when you urinate.
