I have been dosing around five times a week with supplements and note a drop in lymphocytes. The psoriasis remains well controlled but I have developed a few fingerprint sized patches. Since the test I have decided to try another dosing strategy. NAC inhibits the anti-oxidant/anti-inflammatory NRF2 activation of dmf, so while it helps the lymphocyte count, it reduces the efficacy of dmf. By not taking supplements with dmf and dosing about three times weekly I may get equal or better efficacy from the drug. In line with this the new patches have been resolving. I expect to have a drop in lymphocytes with my next blood test, but I think that it will be a better approach to take a break from dmf and take supplements if the lymphocyte count drops too low. I hope that this approach will make treatment simpler and more effective. On a lighter note I have been taking advantage of the cheap strawberries on offer by making lots of jam. I make mine with a whack of lemon so it isn't too sweet. Very yummy.

You are still doing very well with this count of the lymphocytes, Bill.
Do I understand it well that you are for now have completely stopped the supplements?
And If the lympho’s go down, that you will completely stop the DMF, and then will only take the supplements for a while?
Do you have an idea of how long you will stop the DMF then? Days - weeks?
Arent you worried that the Psoriasis will come back then?
How would you restart after the break, as often with the start the lympho’s plunge (as far as I know)
Couldn’t it be an approach to, for now stop the supplements for not too long, wait for the patches to go away, and then after some time, restart the supplements again? So without stopping the DMF.
Which range of supplements have you been taken the recent time?
Oops…. Questions, questions, I realise, so early in the morning. Oh. for you it is not early in the morning.
Cheers,
