Hello,
Nice to meet you. Just call me Leona if you will. I'm due for a hip replacement myself. I had 3 spine fusions over 10 years ago. I was clear when they operated.
I am denied hip surgery for the same reason - infection.
Serveral MD's said I would get MRSA systemically. They were strict.
I had a melt down a few weeks ago but I am better. But this was my dilema.
I relate totally with your situation.
I m still hobbling, skin getting better. But by July Ill get my anterior approach hip replacement. I would like my personal life back as well.
There is a whole debate on approach, i hear you can do more, heal faster with anterior. What have you heard?
