Looking back over this thread to 2011 I notice one common theme running through it and it as relevant today as it was when the forum was started.
It's Fred's enthusiasm for the club it never seems to wane, he is still constantly keeping us updated with the latest research, and articles on psoriasis and psoriatic Arthritis .
It seems no matter what is thrown at him he comes back smiling. I know Fred says that he does this because he wants to, well I for one hope he will always want to.
He is the lynch pin of the site, who has a great way with words and is able to in the nicest of ways disagree if he thinks our ways are misguided, there is never any nastiness on the site. Fred has said he would stamp that out if necessary.
He has even after this amount of time managed to keep the site active and friendly and current regarding psoriasis.
I know he has a big boot which he uses to get rid of the internet nasties that try to join ( why they would want to I can't understand)
I understand how new members get frustrated sometimes when they join and can't use some of the sections on here, but Fred has explained his reasoning on the very few rules of the site.
The five post rule before access to members list or use of pm system protects us from spammers, it's to much trouble for them to make five posts
Again although we all take for granted that the site is safe and there is never any spam,
It is all due to the vigilance of one man
