Wooo hooo .....my copy paste worked this time
#1 What age did you think something was going wrong: 26
#2 How many years later was it that you got a diagnoses: 8
#3 When you got a diagnoses how did it make you feel: Nothing....I knew what I had....runs in the family (psoriasis). That being said, I was extremely surprised when I got diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis....didn't know that existed and I am the only one in the family that has it.
#4 What was your first treatment: Dovobet for psoriasis in 2004 and MTX for the arthritis in 2008
#5 Did you think it was a temporary thing: No
#6 How long before you got to see a dermatologist: I went 8 years later as it was getting worse
#7 What did you think of your first dermatologist: batshit crazy, never went again and gave up on the Dovobet treatment after a month.
#8 Have you ever given up on a prescribed treatment: yes, topicals
#9 How do you feel you are being treated today: so so....I don't see a dermatologist anymore, just a rheumatologist that is not very good and sometimes feel like a guinea pig. That being said, Simponi is working well for my arthritis although it's every three weeks instead of four.
#10 What would you say to the younger you at #1: Look around carefully, you will see that you are not alone! Many people have skin issues (eczema, vitiligo, psoriasis, etc)
