I actually do not like nor eat cherries, but I like the flavor. Drinks that have the cherry flavor, I quite like, wondering if it's because of added sugar or something. But I don't like cherry pie which has a lot of sugar in it so I'm not quite sure why I like one (the flavor) and not the other (the actual fruit).
They can be quite varied, some are very sour and some very sweet. I don’t much like that canned stuff for pie filling, it’s very sweet and full of cornstarch or something.
We have a small cherry tree but the squirrels always get them first so we don’t get to taste them
The cherry juice that’s best for gout (ie not watered down) is very tart - I’ve tried it. Not that nice really but hey if it works it’s better than drugs with side effects. I guess it could be sweetened up a little to make it palatable. I still haven’t embarked on this experiment but I plan to..
I think I may search for the capsules you mentioned. The one thing I worry about with juice is added sugar. I could handle tart, as long as I didn't have to drink a ton of it!
