?? Why?
Your immune system is already working harder that normal immune systems. There is no reason for a top up.
She was invited by Imperial college London a few weeks back to have an antibody test as part of a study on immuno suppressed /compromised people who had had 2 covid jabs ....her results came back saying she hadn't developed any antibodies and they suggested she had a booster jab in the autumn .... Although what good it will do I don't know unless she starts making antibodies to protect her.
So I assumed as my medication affects my immune system it would be prudent to either (a) have an antibody test and if negative (b) ask for a booster
Indeed for Eileen that seems very sensible
And I am very interested in how your (a) is going to be. As far as I know your immune system is not affected by your medication, as your lympho’s are always very on level.
How do you get that, do you know? I read they are only offering them to people going for covid tests..
If those of us on immunosuppressants are not making any antibodies they should find out because we could try stopping the drugs for a few weeks to give the vaccine a chance.
