Why don't they all agree, surely it would make sense to have everyone singing from the same sheet so they could pool the information.

Specifically methotrexate and rituximab are being mentioned. Sources are several research publications in a.o. the US.
A researcher says: “We believe that the underlying chronic immune stimulation in autoimmune patients may lead to T-cell depletion and thus an attenuation of the immune response. In addition, specific drugs, such as methotrexate, can interfere with the immune response.“
Now psoriasis is no typical auto immune disease, but it it treated with the same kind of medications.
